Louis Raso MD
Florida Pain Doctor, Louis Raso, MD
Dr. Louis Raso has an impressive pedigree. When it comes to pain doctors, he’s created a body of work that’s not only substantial, but also has garnered a lot of respect among other doctors across the nation. And it all starts with his training about three decades ago.
Dr. Raso graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in zoology & physiology, making the dean’s list and completing honors chemistry in the process — all while being the captain of the Rutgers tennis team. From there he went to Rutgers Medical School where he earned his doctorate in June of 1985. He continued his education by performing his internship and residency in general surgery at Rutgers University, Cooper Medical Center, and then proceeded on to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. There he performed his residency in anesthesiology, and took a specialty year, primarily training himself in Interventional Pain Management including implantation techniques and neuromodulation.
